The foldable phone is also rumored to have a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. The next-generation foldable Samsung is expected to get two batteries with a combined capacity of 4,270 mAh.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will probably be lighter than its predecessor. The tipster claimed that the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 would be lighter than 260 grams.

Separately, in concept renders shared by Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks, in partnership with SmartPrix, we see that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It will reportedly have a 6.2-inch size. Inch cover display and a 7.6-inch folding display, but it will come with a redesigned rear camera configuration.

The leak indicated that the smartphone might also not get a built-in housing for the S Pen this time around. No official announcement has been made regarding the launch date of the Samsung smartphone. Still, the smartphone is expected to launch in August or September, as the South Korean giant announced the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 in early August last year.

The smartphone is said to have a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens on the back.

Another May 6 leak by Ice Universe claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset.

A report from TheElec said Samsung is considering batteries manufactured by Amperex Technology Limited for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to have two batteries with a combined capacity of 4,270 mAh. According to the Korean Certification Database, the first battery may have a total of 2,002 mAh and the second with a total of 2,268 mAh.
